I don't have the route, but are you following the green line from the start point to where you want to end? If you want to go the opposite way to the way the line goes, right click and select "change start direction".

Sounds a bit like you're running into a dead end (siding perhaps?) at Golf Links. Zoom right in at Golf Links to see all the track detail and if that is the case, at the appropriate set of points right click on the node point and select "take other exit" to avoid the dead end. Work your way up the path like that so the path follows the exact route you want. You can only set an "end point" once the green line goes through the point where you want to end the path.

i'm having to do the activity in 2 parts instead, V1 is the 2 part activity, V2 is the full activity in 1. Almost there, but another problem. Does anyone know how i can change the departure time for the 1st station without waiting for like 3 mins lol.

Double click on the arrival time - set the departure time.
Double click on the arrival time - set the arrival time.

If the waiting time at the station is too long when running it; right click on the blue platform marker and reduce the number of passengers.
