Hi There,

It would appear from information I have read that the Crab NEVER ran with the correct tender. When originally drawn up by George Hughes, it had a purpose built dedicated tender. Due to savings production costs the correct tender was scrapped in favour of the narrower Midland standard 3500gal tender.

This looks really good.
Can we look forward to a Fowler tender and LMS liveries as well?

(Don't worry I can wait, I am just preparing to send my MSTS computer on another two month sea voyage without me.)
Regards

Hi Darwin,

The Crab will be attached to a Fowler tender when released.

The Stanier tender is attached for testing purposes.

Hi Darwin,

I have made all the texture mapping so that it can be converted to LMS crimson lake including the steps backplates.

Making an LMS version is not high on my agenda but you are more than welcome to have a play with reskinning the finished model. You will have to comunicate back to me if you have any mapping problems.

I hope your pc survives the trip.

Hi There,

We now have a Fowler tender.

I have still to fit the coal rails and a few tweeks here and there.

Great work Mick. That is a fine Crab model. Out of the two I've seen for MSTS, it's the best! I'm looking forward to trying it out. :D
