Unloading coal at Didcot powerstation

Post by Dougie_1974 »

I've been playing an activity in which I take a coal train from Oxford to the powerstation at Didcot and can't unload the coal hoppers. How do I unload them?

Any help would be appreciated, Doug

Doug,

Have you tried pressing 'T' with the wagon over the unloading point? As I recall that's all there is to it.

Hi,
I just experienced exactly the same problem in a similar scenario at Didcot power station. Neither the "t" button or clicking the icon over the wagon worked. I finally got the wagons to empty by using the load/unload button on the F4 display.
Hope this helps.
All the best,
Dave

Have you reported this to RS.Com via their support email address ?

They do read the forums but may or may not pick up on this post. All problems ought to be reported direct to ensure they get looked at.
Kindest regards

I think (and as far as I'm aware this isn't actually documented anywhere) you need to press shift+t to unload wagons. You also need to be stationary (or very nearly so) when unloading

I thought I read somewhere you used 'SHIFT+T' to unload freight and 'T' to load.

**edit just like steve said**** beat me to it!!!!!!
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

I will probably play around a bit first and try to re-create the problem with some core content and perhaps at a different location. The scenario in question was a third party one so it would help RS.com if I can give them a little more info.

Dave

Hey guys,

I used the dashboard screen and clicked on the icon and that worked for me.

Cheers, Dougie
