Lydbrook Junction2 Stock

Post by refman »

I have been working on some activities for LJ2 and have completed a range of new stock.
I have set the activities in the late 1930s to the early BR years.
So far I have.
24 PO wagons with the same wagons re-painted ( not very well ) for BR ownership
4 Panniers - 16xx - 64xx - 74xx and a 54xx in both GW Black and early BR livery
A 14xx in the same combination
An Ex GW Railcar
2 Toad Brakevans ( one 16t and one 20t ) in GW and BR versions
6 Vans in both GW and BR versions
An Auto-trailer in GW and BR versions
I thing I should upload them as separate items, I need to just sort out a cabview for the Railcar, and figure out how the lights functioned.

Hi Reg,

That looks a nice selection of stock for the route,I was just wondering if you could add a GWR B set to it in both BR and GWR colours.
I will definatly be down loading the stock and activities when they are released.

The ex-GWR railcar is a great addition. There was one of the rounded types in the library a while back but I'm not sure what ever happened to it.

Hi,

Yes, I remember that one, it was the green streamlined shape and featured in an Alston activity, of all places, probably from the early MSTS days when it seemed fashionable to represent SR and WR on the S&C! I think it was called the Railcar Twinset (DRTS). I think I substituted it with railcar No.22, in chocolate and cream. A potential reskin project? I did a little research, and there were several types. They are listed in abc locomotives 1944. It would seem that the DRTS was withdrawn from UKTS quite a while ago, and, correct me if I am wrong, I don't think it is available elsewhere.

Regards,

Steve
