Rail Vegetation Companies
Hi all, by the middle to end of February i will have my PTS card and i'm wanting to go into the vegetation area of the railways, i was just wondering if anyone knows of companies who are in either the North East or North Yorkshire i have been on google but can't find any in those too areas, i'd be very greatful for any help.

Perhaps, like me, people are not quite sure what "vegetation areas of railways" means?

If you mean vegetation management you are looking at Network Rail or a contractor such as Balfour Beatty (though IIRC they're more 'heavy duty' infrastructure side)

Network Rail have an off track team who deal with lineside fencing, vegetation etc. They will do the day to day jobs and some of the bigger jobs. Larger tasks such as heavy deforestation
will generally be done by contactors. Theres a huge number of them you can sign up with.
People like Buckingham Group, Leda Rail, Bam Nuttall, C Spencer, Kier, Amey etc.
