really cannot wait for this route, Markalmark wrote:Just done a little FW-Spean Bridge test to see what load a Black 5 can get over the climb. Starting the 1 mile at 1 in 59 at 30mph i got over the top at 6mph with load 12. I can officially reveal that our V1 Recommended Maximum load for a Black Five will be 9 Coaches from FW-SB. In real life i think it is 6 or 7 over the WHL for a Class 5.
Anyway,screens:

I think the maximum a Black 5 can take over the West Highland Line ( Glasgow - Fort William ) is 8 Mk1's. Certainly 2 years ago when we were taking 45407 to Fort Bill after the 1T57 Anniversairy, we went up with 1 Mk2 and 7 Mk1's.msey0002 wrote:really cannot wait for this route, Markalmark wrote:Just done a little FW-Spean Bridge test to see what load a Black 5 can get over the climb.
