Had an enjoyable day down at the Bluebell Railway today. 34059 'Sir Archibald Sinclair' and U Class No. 1638 were in action (no photos of the latter though).

I was at Horsted Keynes this afternoon taking photos of the refurbished wagons. Sir Archibald is certainly an impressive loco with lots of steam on this cold wet day -

This was the first time I've had the chance to do a full line run behind Archie, and as expected the light load didn't cause it any trouble. Hopefully this year we will get more use out of it after being stopped for two long periods during 2010 with firebox problems.
