W doesn't seem to work
metrobus can you explain your problem? May be Simple Controls Option are enabled?

We spent a lot of time testing our product to ensure the correct work for any user. Let me remind you that the Add-on will not work correctly on the game version older than 114.1b and with the enabled Simple Controls option.
Please pay close attention to ALL PDF-files. We spent a lot of time to translate them to English.

Have this problem too. Some keys will animated their respective parts (ie: WS will move the reverser) but it wasn't actually setting the train forward etc. (f5 will show 0% reverser in forward) Their input mappers are interfering with someone elses input mappers I suspect.

I also have the same problem, I tried manually putting the locomotive in (forward) and I could power up the engine, but not move.

Fixed it, read the manual. Stupid simulations. I had to setup the vigilance first. Would love to donate, but they can't take PayPal.

Edit: After fully taking in the rest of the manual and spending an hour in cab. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G scripting and operations. You are literally operating this locomotive. This is NOT a press #8 and go bird watching while you make a 30 mile journey locomotive.

This was my case too, I can now drive it. Though the "A" key does not cause me to go forward but manually turning the throttle control does. (Also the A key does turn the control)

I do agree with this statement here, great job.

Guys, PLEASE, read the Driver Manual!
Use the keyboard!
In all gameplay modes, please give up control of the reverser and throttle with the mouse, as the game engine does not correctly handle these manipulations with the scripts work.
Also, for the correct handling of scripts, you must renounce the use of a simplified control panel Driver Controls.
Preparing to move
1. Turn the key of the EPK (electro-pneumatic stop valve) 90 degrees clockwise (as far as it will go).
2. When this key is turned, the locomotive signal will turn to Red, and you will here the acoustic vigilance warning. Press the vigilance button.
3. After pressing the button the warning will stop. So that the ASLN signal-system interacts with the trackside, press the «Enable White light» button.

Having completed these simple tasks, you are ready to move the locomotive.
To move the locomotive
1. Select either «forward» or «backward» with the reverser lever.
2. Ensure that both locomotive and train brakes are released (the «brake cylinder pressure» manometer should show zero), otherwise release the brakes.
3. Put the throttle in the first notch. Hold it there for a second; you will hear the characteristic noise of the electrical contacts being switched on. Once the contacts are switched on, the ammeter «generator load» will show an increase in the generator output, and the locomotive will start to move

Looks great! Is this a broad gauge loco?
The track in the video looks custom so I thought that might be special broad gauge track.

A quick google threw up that Latvian Railways have 7 of these locomotives operating on Russian standard 4 ft 11 5⁄6 in track, so I would guess yes :)
