CDR Petrol Railcar

Post by Sector95 »

Hi all,

I'm doing a project for my local railway heritage centre which involves building most of the stock and a route from the deceased County Donegal Railway. This was the largest NG railway in Ireland and pioneered the use of Railcars as well as the first Diesel Railcar in 1931. I was wondering if anybody knows of any petrol railcar sounds and early diesel railcar sounds as the First Gen DMU soundsets sound less vintage.

Yes Paul, Reg has laid the foundations by building PHOENIX, Railcar 19/20 and Wagons. So far I've built Railcar 3 the 2nd (ex Dublin Tramcar, lovely machine) and WIP Railcar 6, 7/8.

Thinking of building the Glenties Branch.
