Steam DLC Offers

Post by stormbreaker »

Will there be any discounts on individual DLC as I am thinking about buying WCML?

Thanks

They happen frequently, you just have to be around when they happen.

Thanks. It's just I remember last year they had a 70% (or something like that) off everything.

I guess we'll find out in a few days.. The Steam Christmas / New Year sales usually start anywhere between the 24th and the 26th. Depending on when the Steam guys get the time to update the shop.

I just hope the "Treasure Hunt" hasn't replaced or affected the (usually) excellent deals that usually appear. :o :)

OK. Couldn't wait any longer. I downloaded WCML. I can't seem to run any of the activities. I have verified game cache, defragged the cache files and lowered all of my settings. Nothing seems to work. It just freezes whilst loading.

Any ideas.

I have also done a reboot and this hasn't changed anything.

It still might be worth turning the settings down in the graphical options, maybe set all to medium quality just to see if it then loads as the route is very, very intensive. If that works, you can then try and notch them up one at a time until you find a happy medium.

Just looked at Steam and there seems to be a shed load of addons at 50% off
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

Thanks, but I had just literally bought it before the discount was shown. Sods law. Oh well, at least I can get all the nice rolling stock available.

Sorry about that, I should've read the rest of the post before posting myself.

:o
There's some stuff on there for less than £1.50!

Must not buy, must not buy...
