"E:\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\train.exe" -toolset

should help you on your way - change "E:\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator" to wherever you installed MSTS to. Keep the quotation marks and note the space before -toolset.

Did you start off b y looking for the Editor in the normal way?
On the desk top go to Start>All Programs and look for Microsoft Games and click on it. A window should appear with "Train Simulator" on it; click on "Train Simulator" and a further window should appear with a list which includes "Train Simulator Editors and Tools"
To make life easier in future right click on that and select Create Shortcut.
Copy the Shortcut icon that appears to your desktop and if you want rename it to MSTS Editor and Tools. When you want the Editor just click on that desktop short cut.
For me this won't work if Train Simulator is on another drive.

If that doesn't work go to Start>Run and type in
"C:\Program Files\Train Simulator\Launcher.exe" -runeditor and then OK
If Train Simulator is on another drive alter C to suit
Type in the inverted commas " and " and leave a space between the last " and the -runeditor.
