Hi
( I'm just passing by, as it were, and thought I'd answer your query........ I'm not one of the 'officials'
)
I think you'll find 'all are welcome' - provided that questions are reasonable (*1) and comments are not inflammatory (*2)
*1 Many questions have already been asked and answered at least once, so it's good form to at least try to see if a query has been resolved in a previous post
*2 A bit of trawling through posts in several of the sections will show that there has been, from time to time, significant unhappiness about comments/posts etc. There have been several instances of toys being thrown from the pram and associated tantrums over strongly held views about certain subjects.
Contribution to forum discussion is dependent on individuals. It may be that you're seeing a particular focus at present ( I'm not a 'Railworks' user at present so I don't look at much of those threads on a regular basis). If you have questions - ask away - I'm sure they'll be answered.
Cheers
John

Re: Are these forums are for everybody or just experts?
As John says, the forums are for everyone, irrespective of simulator preference, experience or knowledge. Ask any question and it'll usually be answered well. All we ask is that members post within the forums rules. Today's experts are often yesterday's novices who have learned from asking questions here.

Yes thanks for the reply Ashgrey. I thought I might of upset RSderek when I accused him of spam. And got the impression other forumers were ignoring me which made me think the forums were for experts but its just me being paranoid your right it is for everyone.

Nah, don't worry Ian, I'm sure you haven't made it onto Derek's blacklist, just yet.....
As Ash, very nicely summed it up, today's experts were yesterday's novices, the longer you have been around and acquired knowledge about your particular simulator hobby, the more you become an expert in things, whether technical, posting screenshots, making videos, developing and creating, or, whatever, and I wouldn't worry about being ignored on occasions either, it happens to all of us.....
Cheerz. Transport Steve.
