I've searched the forum and followed advice but it ain't working so clearly I'm missing something.
I downloaded the East Coast HST 43277 from Mully. Installed it using Package Manager and all the components appear to be in the system.
I then followed the guidance to open Railworks, select any route, go into World Editor, click the little blue box on the middle left and.............
I open the box on the right side but no listing of Mully; there's Kuju and Castle Rock etc.
Assistance appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Installing - again?
Shut down RailWorks completely, restart it but don't click on the 'Start' button yet. Go to the 'Tools & Docs' tab, near the middle is a button marked 'Clear Cache', click on it, OK the 'complete' message and then start RailWorks proper by clicking on 'Start'. Hopefully you should then see Mully on the list in the box on the right when you go into the editor.
It's always advisable to go through that procedure after installing new rolling stock through the Package Manager as otherwise RailWorks won't update its internal database to include the new items.

Re: Installing - again?
I would expect to find it located under Kuju, since the HST is a default model. Repaints normally should be found in the folder for the model maker, not who actaually repainted it.

Re: Installing - again?
Thanks for the replies.
I cleared the cache and restarted. As I mentioned, the system appears to recognize the addon as all the assets are listed in the package manager tree under Assets_Kuju etc and, indeed, no 'Mully' is listed in that right panel although the notes on his website suggest that it should.
Now, assuming that the repaint is in the program, how do I make the HST appear and, more importantly, get to drive the damned thing?
And why aren't these basic instructions that you guys are so kind to provide included in the basic instruction manual - or did I miss them? Aaaargh!

You could try http://www.railsimulator.com/videos.php?Cat=sc for some tutorial videos. There are also details in the Creator Manual found in the Tools & Docs tab of the Railworks launcher or in the Manuals/EN folder within Railworks.

Re: Installing - again?
Some progress. I've managed to get the coaches of Mully's East Coast HST to appear and have placed them in a siding.
However, although the power car 43277 is listed in the middle left panel (in Scenario mode) it doesn't appear for positioning when selected.
Any ideas.
Thanks for your help to date.
PS Note to Railworks manuals authors - the manuals are grossly inadequate!!

Re: Installing - again?
Hmm, that's a bit strange. I downloaded the repaint & installed it. I then managed to place it in a free roam without any problems:

You might be interested in this, as it uses the correct refurbished power cars for the East Coast livery

Many thanks. That's not the one I had downloaded but I have now and have it installed. Progress!
