railworks crashes saying theres something wrong
hi folks downloaded activities for wales and borders route and when i have downloaded all the files and run railworks an error message comes up saying something is wrong with railworks. do wish to run diagnostics yes or no then it saves a RailWorks - v114.0b.dmp file any ideas on whats going on with it.

With the info you've given, it could be pretty much anything. What are your system specs? What scenario is it? Doe you have all the required DLC and reskins etc etc...

In addition to what gypbrc has said, have you tried running the W&B Route and its Scenarios through Mike's excellent RWTools to see if any problem areas are detected?

hi there the sencario is for wales and Borders 3.1
its The Long Way 'Round [The Long Way Round.rwp]
machine spec is a HP G65000 laptop with 2GB ram and 250Gb Hard drive with Nvada graphics. railworks works ok on the default senario.
its also the same on WCML north except the defaults work ok.

Re: railworks crashes saying theres something wrong
Hi
That scenario is particularly heavy on resources (but is fantastic, so well worth persevering with). Try turning down the graphical options a bit further than you would normally.
I also seem to remember one reskin that needed swapping as the author had used a slightly different version to the one uploaded to UKTS - I think it was a class 37 but can't remember which one
Hope this is some help
