It has snowed constantly since 7am this morning here in beautiful Surrey, and hasnt stopped yet. Predicted to snow for most of tomrrow and Thursday too. hmm. Not much of it settled earlier on, but it did in the afternoon, and still is.

not too bad here in Berkshire, but we did get a warning about it settling at the Hogsback at work this afternoon.

More concerned about getting out tomorrow for work due to the snow that fell today having re-frozen to make things a little more treacherous.

I may well be tempting fate but here in South Holland in the south of Lincolnshire we have a mere 2 inches or so of snow.

We've had snow here and my school has made the most rediculous announcement tonight on their website. They have said if it snows like it has today they will shut the school...We've only had (probably less than) a centimeter of snow :o !!! As much as I wouldn't mind some time off I think thats rather silly and just plain strange logic? :-?

Around an inch fell in Surrey today.

It hasn't actually stopped snowing at all, but it only settled in the afternoon. This morning it was actually +1 outside, which is certainly an improvement on yesterday's -3/-5.

No more snow here since yesterday. Compared to other areas, the Midlands have got off very lightly so far.

It is now the norm for the authorities and the media, inspired by Health and Safety, to make every minor problem into a major catastrophe.
As one who was there, I can state with authority that if such attitudes had prevailed in 1939 we would now be part of a Nazi empire.

It has snowed all night here and is still doing so now at the upper reaches of Sheffield. No buses running, no bins emptied and no milk and bread at the Co-op :(

Well, over here in 'real' Holland I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my flight back to the UK isn't cancelled - airport departure lounge seats don't make comfy beds..
