snow has gone

hello i am trying to create a scenario in winter when i first started the terain was covered in snow now the terain has returned without snow 1 can change the weather without problems but the still no snow on the ground there is snow showing on roofs of buildings and on on things but changing weather makes no differce any help please pete m

I'm assuming you're in editor mode. Does it show up in the scenario?

yes i am in editor mode there was snow on the ground when i first started but after i added a few items of rolling stock
the terrain changed and the snow thawed and it's been like it since in editor mode or when you select play
the weather can be snowing or raining that changes everytime but not when i change the seasons
i shall try again tonight to see what happens
