Train simulator messed up.

Post by ThomasTelford »

Hi Folks. :fadein:

I seam to have messed up my Trainsim quite a lot in an vain attempt of the clock going passed the 24hour mark and carrying on to hour 32 and not getting daylight again.
I put the disc in and downloaded the Eastmids route again, all was well and it ran ok but sadly this did'nt correct the time fault :( so in a moment of madness i decided to download the two train simulator discs thinking that this would just overwrite what was already there and hopefully sort out my time problem, mmmmm big mistake! :-? Now when i click on the Trainstore icon on my desctop i get a message saying 'MSTS has not been installed on this system' is there a simple way of getting it sorted or do i have to deleate everything and start all over again?

Hi Thomas.

As you have re-installed MSTS, it is probably a problem with the registry entries.

Make sure that Trainstore, is re-installed,to link it to the new MSTS installations register entries.

Or you could try Otto Wipfel's registry repair utility.
