What the hell I have a problem and all of a sudden 3 of you decide to criticise the way that I play the game, what is your problem?

Tell you what, forget I have a problem with the game, seeing as you all seem to think its a joke!!!

I can assure you not everyone feels that way Robert. It is an unusual way to play the game but no different to getting distracted by the wife tickling your neck, or going to get a glass of water/beer while letting the sim run for a minute.

Unfortunately UKTS really is like being in church today with the high priests and acolytes working overtime to put down the heretics!

To be fair though Rob, you didn't even post a bug, it was more of a rant in the bug thread.

I dont think anyone would have a problem with how you play the game, I really dont. However, its the same old story for RSC. They got severely critiscised for having the "popup" feature of the warnings in some quarters yet some like to have it there. It's always said, but they cannot win.

Not sure as I havent tried it, but cannot you just run with the F4 off and have it exactly as you always had it?

I thought you were all striving for realism! P45 for you.

As opposed to the rebellion marching round with their anti-establishment banners out screaming for their version of truth and justice, shouting scab at anyone not hating it all as much as they are.

It's 50/50.. the difference is, the "church" has a fun game to play, the "football thugs" have a forum to fight in.

My missus always aims to do the latter if i'm on the computer :-?

I seem to be avoiding some bugs, luckily, but I did notice that some stock sometimes shows missing textures, but once i exit the program, all returns to normal!

I'll be bug hunting later too :D

Is it just me or did anyone else notice that the existing level crossings on the Just Trains and WCML North routes no longer have any red flashing lights.... or any lights at all.

In fact the they do appear several feet above in mid air! This is with the cache being cleared as well????? very strange.

Of course.

What we really need though if for someone to figure out how we can watch TV on the screen in the Pendolino like they do in real life...

Hey, what would really be cool is to be able to play "Space Invaders" on the Pendo screen while flying along the WCML N at 125 mph :P

Not everyone thinks you're wrong.

It's not just the AWS warning that has gone from the 'old' view, but all warnings. And earlier I had the sound system .-out midway through a career session, rather than lose the 30 minutes I'd invested already, I continued, but without the AWS warning display I had to be super paranoid and hit Q after every AWS ramp.

It was most annoying, in the past, I'd have coped with just the display, but without it, its like trying to play blind.

I am sure the warnings pop up when the fisher price thingy is displayed? Just turn on the 2x monitor arrangement too it shrinks it somewhat to more reasonable size.

I can't stand the fisher price HUD, it's distracting and I can't easily see the information I need.

But even there, the warnings are like an 16x16 pixel area now, not the nice visible icons they were in the past. It's a huge regression, IMO.

The warnings for overspeed , wheelslip and AWS are indeed present on the new F4 HUD, and much less obtrusive than they were previously
