Wasn't there already one made by Meshtools? Not that I'm saying that this one shouldn't be made (I wouldn't never say that) it does look good though, I only meant in the terms of confusion for users thats all!

Hi

Could you post a link please? I can only see the Crewe 56 still as the latest thing on Sly's homepage?

Edit: No worries, I can see it now!

I'mma buy these later for the simple fact there is no NSE variant and gives me something to kill brain cells repainting. :)

I find it surprising that we're getting duplicate add-ons produced for RW, considering there's still plenty of common UK prototypes not modelled in RW. To be honest, already owning the Meshtools 50, I would see no reason for another of the same. Just like I think it would be extravagant to have both available versions of the class 20.

However, I will say that they are two surprisingly different-looking representations of the Class 50, both with their strengths and weaknesses.

I like it! :)

Just two comments, I think the headlight on the refurbished version should be larger like the Crewe 56, and I would like to see an NSE version. ;)

Although I haven't bought it yet, I would love to know how to get the AP sounds working with it.

I have the MT version already but have never been keen on the front end (just my own taste, an otherwise reasonable model). The IHH version looks to be more detailed so I'll be grabbing it and doing some swapping out in scenarios.

The WCML North would be a good place to start with a double-headed thrash using the headcode version, to bring back those late 60s days. :)

It all depends on what stage of production each one is in. If a person/company has done all of their research and started the model then they cannot be expected to drop it just because someone else has done/or is doing one.

Also, Paul already stated he was planning to do all of these diesels.

I agree with the above + i am dissapointed with the MT cab too whereas Sly's cab looks pretty impressive.
if only i'd have known i have waited for the IHH release.

Indeed, but I use Railworks for a creative side more than a pure driving thing. It lets me play, paint and tinker, plus I thoroughly enjoy sitting in front of Photoshop for hours on end. :)

Downloading now and crossing my fingers the textures are not a jigsaw puzzle (more work!).
