Post by FoggyMorning »

Just noticed that this pack has now gone on sale (£5.99 http://www.justtrains.net). Have been looking forward to these for a while, good to have some more modern rolling stock

Well, they are very nice indeed. Just tried the scenario for the default Newcastle - York route. Only minor quibble with that scenario, is I can tell it wasn't written with a period timetable. Set in 1978, but with services running to Manchester Airport, which didn't open until 1993.

Look tempting but must save points for Bristol Exeter.. Then again I suppose I would have more points if I just bought them.. (I could apply the same logic as my wife, who often saves me hundreds of pounds in the John Lewis sale  )

Not you Phil, they are 100% silent as are most all of JT wagons.

Aliasing to the BG Modern will suffice or the sound set of your choice. :)

The TEA Wagons by Oovee could be good sounds to adopt, they make a huge amount of noise just about all the time!
