Nothing stopping you creating some scenarios using payware you like and uploading them for others to use.

I think this pack would actually give me a reason to buy the Pendolino add-on. I think it is a good thing that developers are putting payware add-ons to good use, which otherwise might feel like poor value for money with just the few free scenarios to use on it.

I had a collision on the Euston - Glasgow Pendollino scenaro - its possible the problem could be with the signalling as the activity looked fine in the editor - I crossed over from Line 2 to line 1 on the approach to GC platform 1 and collided with 1E23 HS, but was running under yellows. I was probably a minute or so early, but was surprised not to get a red or the HST to be held.

thanks

Hmm, seems something is up with the signalling. It must also vary on how slow/fast you drive as I didn't experience this. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, I had the same problem, I think I was also running a few minutes early.

Couldnt agree with you more Alexnick. I downloaded Fantas scenario for WCML and I needed the DT wagon pack, I never thought of buying this before but saw that it was needed I could have used RWtools but I went to DT's website and saw the wagons and bought them as they looked very nice. I cant blame people for complaining about payware but on the other hand it makes scenarios much more interesting than seeing 37 47 and HST all the time. I think payware scenario creaters need to find out what the most popular DLC are and then put them in to their scenarios

I have had my interest in RW rekindled by this great route and all the scenarios including these by Richard.

The freeware/payware arguement will always divide but I have, including the route and assests spent about £40 ( I had already had most of the assets to be fair ). I have been playing RW during my leasure time exclusively since its release. I purchased MAFIA 2 for £30 and finished it within 5 days it was a great game but will only return to it when new payware add ons are released.

So on the value for money and replay value RW wins hands down.

I am in the fortunate position of being able to purchase most games when I want but that wasnt always the case so I understand both arguements

Should have posted this last night but it slipped my mind. Just to let you all know, an updated version of the pack has been uploaded which fixes the problem in the 1S58 scenario. Just redownload from your order history and that's all that's required.

Just to say...i have most of the payware from Richard, (they are quality )...

However , i cannot bring myself to purchase the JT Voyager add-on, (way over priced imho )...Which also stops me from downloading other Free scenarios,

So , will it be easy to swap out the Voyager from this pack ? or will it be a pain in the ?...

Answer will decide if i purchase ..lol

Cheers
Brian

ps..WCML is very good, all we need now is the extension thru to B.ham New street via Manchester.. Stafford .. Wolverhampton ..Tipton etc etc

If you want realism, it is a pain in the preverbial to choose anything otherwise, coupled with the fact that swapping it out could make scenarios useless as the replacements have completely different power outputs and affect timings.

In all honesty, its only a couple of quid more than most other stuff out there and like you have already said, it stops you downloading scenarios. From that point of view, its not a bad investment, it means you have it for future scenarios and its a pretty good model to boot and is a nice drive.

Another relevant point, maybe for some it wont matter, but you do have the licensed liveries that it has carried, meaning it works for scenarios "out of the box" and doesn't normally require reskins unless fictional. For me, I think that is another strong point.

Hi,

Very sorry to hear that you feel the Voyager add-on is "way over priced", considering the amount of content you get: 220/221, Virgin, Transitional and Cross Country liveries, plus the bonus fictional German and US liveries and a number of scenarios.

How much do you reckon you would be prepared to pay for it?

Thanks,

Simon

Hi,

If you consider the Just Reward points given by Just Trains that you can apply to the next purchase of your choice, it certainly lower the price.
Only the first item purchased cost the retail price.

I apply my Just Reward points to my next bigger purchase and I save a lot of money. :D

£6.99........and i will buy it.. :D ..........just like i bought the class 66 .at that price .. :D .or was that the 60 ( cant remember )...Which was also Orignally Overpriced...

Im not signalling JT out, i have not purchased from IHH either ( the 9F i think )....at £14.00.... :o (silly price ) and there are a couple of others, :bad-words:

This stuff needs to be below the £10.00 mark, ( i just think you would sell more )... Just my Opinion...

Subjective ....... , Personally I was disappointed with this model ( twice , and perhaps I foolishly expected more the second time around ) , poor representation of the B5000 bogies , not enough geometry overall and textures that don't do enough to enhance what little geometry there is ( particularly in those bogies ) , a mesh error that stands out like the proverbial , these points (and others) guarantee that I'll not purchase an item by this author again .
