Re: The Keith Ross appreciation society.....
It is without doubt the best route yet. strains my poor 2.6 ghz to the limit, but the point is it works and looks fantastic.
Thanks for this.

Re: The Keith Ross appreciation society.....
Big bump alert... have just seen the latest shots of South West Scotland and I'm absolutely blown away by the quality of this and the extended Port Road. Immensely looking forward to both routes.
PS Can anyone confirm that Keith is in actual fact a human being and not some form of route building cyborg ninja?

The appropriate form for expressing such a question is actually as a speculative statement, for example...FoggyMorning wrote:PS Can anyone confirm that Keith is in actual fact a human being and not some form of route building cyborg ninja?

With the recent videos of port road I have to say I'd like to drop some appreciation in for the update to come of port road aswell as the update of WCML N in the future, I use port road extensively to test kettle releases and the area is so kettle-fied that its just my place for fun, so very much a thank you.

Keith does great work and I also think an inspiration to some of us into the Developing side of things too (like myself).
Keep up the good work and thanks for your contributions to RailWorks and the Train-Simming community.

Re: The Keith Ross appreciation society.....
Echoing all the previous posts, WCML has and always will be my go to Route,
It is (imho) the best Route Available .
I am in awe of the guys who produce such brilliant work,
I have tried , but to be honest, im pants when it comes to route building,
Scenarios on the other hand i really enjoy making, Exclusively for the WCML of course.
Waiting in anticipation for the WCML Upgrade.
Oh, and Keith, if you ever do a route that includes Wolverhampton Station, i will send you my 2nd born......lol
Cheers all
Brian

Some say...
...that he drinks only finest port.
...and that his favourite hobby is knitting.
All we know is, he's called Keith Ross.

Well I hope all this is being posted with tongue firmly in cheek!!
Thanks chaps. Really not worthy of all this nice-ness that's going around.
However, I'm aiming to upload a little something for you all in the next few hours.... hopefully.
Cheers,
Keith

I really like the Port Road. While I'm not a big fan of fictional and/or disused lines, Port Road really has so much atmosphere. Just perfect for steam or even diesel "Sprinter" trains. Keep up the great job and I look forward to the updates for WCMLN and Port Road!

Re: The Keith Ross appreciation society.....
I think Keith deserves an award for his contributions to the genre. A great expanding freeware route, and a payware route that deserves every penny.
I'll be walking around shaking a tin. Please give generously. I'm off to create some scenarios with the proceeds.

Anyone who makes a 10 min vid with a Primal Scream soundtrack is ok with me.
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.
