TSM Loco Derails

Hi,

I've just finished building a railcar in TSM but when it is in the sim as soon as I release the brakes and put it into gear 1 it flies away and derails without being in power. Any suggestions?

Have you tested it in ShapeView, and does the animation work OK?

Yeah the wheels turn correctly. It just takes off when gear 1 is selected. I tried physics too but it didnt help

Have you entered the correct locomotive type etc in TSM Project properties? Is the TSM model hierarchy OK - i.e. parts/parent parts . I believe it's all the basics that need re-checking first.

Your problem is reminiscent of a very early error in MSTS history, there is an error in the physics of the diesel/gearbox drives.
MSTSBin addressed this and totally cured the problem.
If perchance you have MSTSBin installed, then there is definitely a problem within the .eng file.
Try the parameters and values from another known railcar .eng which works correctly if this is the case.

I tried using different eng. files but nothing is working. Anymore suggestions? It might be the model itself.
