Thank you guys... but the cab is not finished jet... And yes, we drive on the right track but why is the driverstand on the left side I really don't know. Also, the Ganz EMU has drivestand on right side.

Perhaps the reason for left hand control stands is because in Sweden until 1967 they used to drive their road vehicles on the left, when ASEA produced the RBs (JZ 441) they were provided with left hand control stands, maybe JZ specified left hand control stands for electric locomotives? This would also explain the why the American built JZ 661s have right hand control stands, because Americans drive on the right hand side of the road.

Just a guess!

1142 is looking great! :D
