Doh! Just bought the RW Talyllyn route and the Shunter pack as well! :-?

Hopefully the various stages of "imminence" should pad it out nicely 'til next Thursday/Friday when I'll be ready  :D

Cheers

To be honest I can't see what all the fuss is about! I think we should be grateful that we get these wonderful locomotives. Yeah there £11.99 but its the same price steam are charging. IHH work very hard to create these locomotives and all they get is slack about this imminent thing. Yeah they don't have the release date on their website but least they are saying that there locomotives are coming out soon, so we can prepare for the release. I don't normally write what I think sometimes and I know not everyone writes about this imminent thing but I'm getting sick of it!

Erm, I think you might have misread into what people have been typing, the imminent thing is a running gag from the Western release which Sly in good faith decided to go with the running gag and pop up the different "imminent" tags on his releases, he's continuing that with the Britannia, I also believe Bigphil's post wasn't directed at the cost of the package merely that it was another purchase alongside all the other ones from IHH this month, I maybe wrong however BigPhil's post was not wrote in the way which would suggest he was complaining about the price of the package.

There was a moderator note in the last thread to keep the excitement at a controlled level, but otherwise there was no issue and I'm sure a moderator would have commented if there is a problem here.

I may of misread that price comment but I'm sorry if I got ahead of myself but there has been a number of threads about this imminent thing and its just getting old now. Anyway the Britannia looks like another great locomotive, 1 I will definitely be putting on the shopping list.

Hi, I think it's only getting more costly because developers are making such good stuff it is getting harder to choose which ones I need - sorry want! :) A lot of my purchases are so I can play some of the scenarios on here properly. Scenario writers have a lot to answer for  :) The Brittania will definitely be my choice though....

What Colour is an LMR livery? Midland Railway Crimson?
Intel Core i7 2600K 3.40GHz @ 4.60GHz,
Nvidia GeForce GTX 580 3072MB
Motherboard: Intel Z68 (Socket 1155), 8MB DDR3 RAM. On-board Sound
Windows 7 64
I Mean, that should do it?

Not sure if you intended to post into this thread as your query doesn't seem directly relevant...?

Perhaps you could elaborate a bit?

The IHH page says it will include WR and LMR variants
AFAIK the whole class was liveried in Brunswick Green though apart from No. 70000 initially carrying plain black

WR variant is presumably the changed smoke deflectors. After a bad rail crash (I think it was at Steventon) due to the handrails on the smoke deflectors obstructing a danger signal, Western Region removed the handrails in favour of holes cut in them. Look up Hornbys Britannia Apollo and you will see what I mean.

LMR also seem to have made a similar mod, which is what the version on IHH webpage looks like. Done a bit differently though.
