Correct - to a degree. Just Trains have a policy of having VAT-inclusive prices in Pounds and Euros for UK and other European customers. The interesting part is that the are far from doing the right thing by their customers, they charge the US$ equivalents of the VAT-inclusive prices to overseas customers who are exempt from paying VAT so they get an extra 17.5% profitTraveller54 wrote:Trans, just a small point, no they 'don't have to' they choose to. IHH are the ones doing the right thing by displaying the product price only and then adding taxes (if applicable) at the point of sale.
