How did you copy them over mate?

I think this has been answered in another reply but if not post again. Obviously will take a while to see which ones work and which don't

I find it quite amusing that so many of our regulars are discovering this great route for the first time after what, 9 months?

In case anyone is having a struggle with copying scenarios over, and maybe wants a payware based one, I have uploaded a scenario called "Racks and Ruin" to the file library which is awaiting approval. In the meantime, it can be obtained from http://rs-trainsim.co.uk/forums/index.p ... =downloads

Not wrong Rik,
Hopefully it'll show that there are a few hidden gems lying about on UKTS just waiting to be discovered by the masses.
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

ok, well just to say again this route is brilliant overall, the reason for the question about the totems was that i thought there was a problem with the route, thank you for clearing it up for me.
juggling railworks, football and uni can be easy, if you keep the less important things to a miniman

Hi

This route was a remarkable achievement for just a week's work in the last Route Building Challenge.

With another Challenge starting in a few weeks, over a longer period of time and with more Challengers than last time taking part already, who knows where the best ones will end up

Well done Keith.

I had 25 scenarios in V3. So far I have managed to at least load 21 of them sucessfully in the new version. Now to try to play through some of them!

Hope it was ok mate. Tested by three people with the only issue being the one mentioned in the readme/download screen.

Okay so far, only got as far as Kirkgunzeon before I had to quit, but I'll do the rest tomorrow.
Really nice scenario Darren, got to love the work of art that is the 101. :)

TractorBasher wrote:If you already have V2 or V3 of The Port Road as in the UKTS library, you will find the scenario folders in the following location:

V2 -- C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Content\Routes\651298b3-8f33-48b8-82e1-78f7f476d171\Scenarios
V3 -- C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Content\Routes\b58cffc0-2b24-492b-babc-21295919df11\Scenarios

Just copy any of the folders within the above listed locations into the following folder:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Content\Routes\00000010-0000-0000-0000-000000000000\Scenarios

I make no promises that any will work. Mine needed some work to get it going, although I have now completed it successfully.

I used RW_Tools to identify specific scenarios, but I suppose you could just copy the lot and try each one in turn.

I will certainly update my scenario to work with this version of the route at some point, as well as adding some new ones which I've created but not uploaded because I couldn't quite get them working as I'd like. If the hoped for signalling tweaks come, I hope they will.

i tried to move my Intercity rescue scenario over from V2. Unfortunatly when I start it I get the "failed to load scenario" thing. When I try to edit it I've noticed my train (2xclass 20's) appear derailed. Any attempt to try to move or delete them results in something bad happening and my entire system freezing. There don't however appear to be any other problems with it.

At the moment I'm going to concentrate on one or two other scenarios I've had in the pipeline and after that I may come back to it if the demand is there.

Thanks Darren - a very entertaining scenario, even if I managed to overrun two of the station stops by a couple of hundred yards! I'll have to work on my braking skills on gradients.

Lots of interesting traffic - especially the diesel removing some of the remaining steam engines. But should they be in steam?
Alan

My railway photos are now on Google + - links to the albums are in this thread http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 9&t=149558

Lots of steam and early diesels from 1959 to 1963.

They were set to dead but somehow weren't. Lets just say the old girls wouldn't go easily!
