... and I've got the same issue as last weeks Cotswold Line scenario where the Steam launcher refuses to add it to my cart
I have however got both TPR and the Big Boy scenario downloading by going through the Steam website in a browser window :-?

I just logged out of Steam on Firefox, clicked install, logged back in and then launched Steam from the button provided. It's installing now.

Edit - Installed absolutely fine.

It really is a huge bonus, even for those of us who already had the route. Not only can others now enjoy it, we now have an extra route that can be used by DLC, win win.

Hello FoggyMorning  !

Have you tryed to go to download content for RW in Steam Shop and look at the Costwold Line scenario...Not necessary to add to cart !
Click on the picture with the HST...A new windows with this relative content and comments opens...
You should find a button "Install the game" or playing the game...Clicking on it does install this Add'on for free !

Good drive this evening  !

Best regards
gerard

At first glance

A very well constructed route, especially the distant, hills, stations ,river's etc. If the up and coming West Coast is anything like this - the wallet will be ready if required!

Hi - this was my workaround too. What I've always been able to do previously is purchase/download DLC directly through the Steam app; i.e. without going to the Steam store in my web browser. It's not a major hassle, and I have got everything downloaded now, but it kind of defeats the purpose of having an all-in-one launcher app if you have to visit the store through a separate web browser!

Rant over

I agree with your sentiments entirely Darren, especially for those who haven't experienced Keith's route building skills before it will give an excellent example of what a fantastic treat we're all in for with the WCML

After I quick drive from Castle Douglas to Dumfries, I am delighted that for such a dense, beautiful route, even a PC as shoddy as mine can run it really happily. I've got the old version, so I was even more surprised to find a moving narrow boat go underneath my train as I entered Dumfries. For me everything is perfect. Its worth driving it just for the magnificent view from the viaduct, my favorite spot on the route.
Keith, thankyou ever so much for this hugely generous donation to all RW users as a default route, and thankyou RS.com for setting this up as an official default route, where we can expect many great scenarios from future addons to use it. A wonderful, wonderful route.

Kind regards
Chris

Had a go at copying across the scenarios from the version I had. Tried one of them and it seems to be working which is promising.

Looks like it is downloading fine here, and from the screenshots on the Steam page it looks like it'll be well worth it too...

Just copied my V2 scenario "2008 Diverted Coal" over to the new route. One problem with a broken consist off the rails at Dumfries, but apart from that it seems to work OK. Going to give it a full run through. One thing I have noticed though is that the shed at Dumfries is missing. I know this wasn't a default scenic item but I hope it can be added again in a future update.

OK, only ran one of the free roams for a couple of minutes, but man, this route is impressive.
Maybe Tractorbasher could tell us how he got his scenarios copied over, for others who want to try?
