Isle of Wight & Challenger 50% off

Post by clivejames1st »

For anyone interested, especially newcomers to Railworks, Steam are doing a special offer of the Isle of Wight Expansion pack and the US Challenger loco half price.
Isle of Wight route is now £9.99 and the US Challenger is £5.99.
I have both and both are good, my opinion though.

i have the isle of wight installed as a legacy product (RS verion) is it worth updating to the Railworks version ?
are the graphics improoved & will there be any extra assets i may need for other routes that won't be in the RS version ?
because at that price i'm quite tempted.
cheers.

The Challenger looks very nice, but can someone who already has it comment on its abilities? Those Challengers were built to haul very heavy trains and how realistic does Railworks deal with such trains?
