Inspection pits

Post by bristolian »

Evening everyone,

I'm sure that in the recent past, I've seen inspection pits modelled, I'm needing to have a dirty set (ooh ' err) for a steam shed.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

Very Best Wishes,
Bob.

Sadly, the only inspection pits that I have seen are made out of a few walls/concrete blocks, using the rail-only track from the bridge kit

and the tunnel decal for transparency. If you can find a dirty wall, then you might be in luck.

thanks,

Hi bristolian.
I think the best way to construct disposal pits is to use an open track (no sleepers) and place the pit under same.
For the steps, make as separate scenery items.
see the last photo on the page.

Good luck

Hi bristolian
Although Chaddock Engineering MPD pack is a brilliant package you are then limited to their use.
Much better to construct your own by loft structure and a bespoke asset.
Check my disposal pit ID 24010
If you care to wait some time I may upload the disposal pit with rail and steps.
regards
