Re: Oovee Class 57
the old Geo argumant, the true reskinners amoungst us know the rules off by heart and the 37's, Pendolino, 158, ETC ETC have all been proof that we can all be responsible when it comes to giving back ot the community and expanding the liverys, I know some of you a sticklers for reality and thats good, BUT you don't have to download it
those of us who would like some differant liveries (as long as it is not a stuck on photo (i detest people putting "stickers" on the front of a loco (like 57 light clusters).
I hope Oovee will allow us to continue to be the responsible community members we are and not put such a harsh "condition" of sale on the product like thye did sadly with all thier previous fantastic products.

If all we are going to get is unbranded then I'm not going to buy it at this time. I hope of course oovee get premisson to brand them or at least allow the repainters to do it and release them here on UKTS and I will buy them when they can be Branded.

To play Devils Advocate... (though I agree with the sentiments)
what about the 'first time re-skinners' who don't know the 'rules''?
isn't it the right of the producing company to set any 'rules'?
Oovee have set their stall out previously with a 'no re-skin' policy, if you/we want to change their stance a better argument than yours is needed. Henry Ford did something similar relating to what colour you could have a car, but it didn't stop folk buying from him.
are you proposing a list of 'licensed' re-skinners?Slammer423 wrote:...... the true reskinners amoungst us know the rules off by heart ....

I think Dave was referring to a certain website which do not omit the Geo files from their reskins

As a fan of modern traction, I am looking forward to another top quality product and we all know it will be an excellent product! Looking forward to having a play with this on my WIP route 2.
is it going to be released via Steam?
Re: Oovee Class 57
Steam only I imagine Ryan as per the recent Oovee products.
