Comparing Routes To Real World

Post by qzdcg8 »

Still tinkering with reading/writing MSTS files and finally got to the point tonight where I can overlay MSTS tiles and TDB entries onto Google Earth - this was a happy by product of something else I'm looking at.

What do you think:-

Any use to anyone?

So I suppose that this would make it more accurate when laying scenery for a route, a bit like the RW Decal Tool.

I believe this would have been a useful tool at the start of building a route, in that it would assist in starting at the correct location. However having started a route a few months ago I would not be inclined to make changes now if this comparison was to show that the route was "slightly off".
