IHH Offline

Post by Sly401 »

Hi Folks.

Just to let you know the IHH site will be down for a couple of days, while we change hosts.

Most unfortunate but the existing hosting company really has left me in the lurch so no alternative.
The good news is service will be faster and have back up reliabilty so a similar situation is most unlikely

Thanks for your understanding

Hi there, mate...

Sorry, I didn't know about the situation, not having seen anything that I noticed, and thought the worst, possibly, as I really do like your models, and look forward to seeing new ones. Will keep watching out, but do you happen to be able to tell us what the new site address will be, as it can't possibly be the same one as before :) and as I don't see a lot of sites with messages, it may well be missed by myself if you do post elsewhere apart from the UKTS Forums. Cheers.

Regards...

It's only the host that's changing, the address will remain the same... http://www.ironhorsehouse.co.uk

The delay comes from having to update nameservers and then waiting on DNS records being updated, once the changes have filtered through then the site will be available again.

:) I humbly beg your pardon there, mate. Thanks a heap for explaining this clearly to me, as it puts a lot into clearer perspective. Cheers.

No joy here either. Oh well, if Sly is on (a well earned) holiday I guess we will be waiting for the crane anyway? Will check back again later

Probably some ISP's DNS server(s) that are slow to update. Happens from time to time.

Yeah, you're right Darren, the crane is now in imminent status, which must mean on sale tomorrow..... :D
HOWEVER, the site keeps going up and down every time I click on the URL, it's a damn nuisance.....
