hello there , for my birthday im going to go to haymarket for 2 nights , just gotto ask some things , is there any spt 156s left ? , are there any old barbie 158s and 170s left , if so how many ? , oh and are the scotrail ex wessex and northern ones still around or have they being repainted , how many do they have ? sorry for asking loads but i need to know as its only 3 weeks till i go and i need to book the B&B , thanks :D

I think theres SPT 156s on the Glasgow-Newcastle but thats a bit out of the way for haymarket. I also recall seeing quite a few Barbie liveried 170s when I was in Inverness a few weeks ago but think they were mainly running Inverness-Glasgow Queen St

well all the SPT 156's are now in the transport scotland blue with saltire spot livery, as for the 158's all are still in First Barbie with the exception of those from Northern 158786 in blue with white stripe, 158782 and 789 in all over blue and 158867 to 158871 in Alphaline silver with scotrail logos, all of the 170's are in first barbie with the exception of 170434 which is in scotrail blue saltire livery and 170470 to 170478 which are in SPT livery
