Hi all, does anyone know if a folder is still existant containing the files of:
1. Peter Sam
2. Rheneas
3. Skarloey railway coaches
I am aware that they were existant at one time on UKTrainSim.
I have most of the Skarloey railway stock for MSTS plus the Talyllyn route to run them on. I am just wondering if these three pieces of stock are still existant.
Grateful of any replies,
Simon

I'm afraid any Thomas trainsim model will fall foul of copywrite and is basically illegal.simon20 wrote:Hi all, does anyone know if a folder is still existant containing the files of:

Last year a British Trainsim website was threatend with legal action, by the current Thomas copywrite holder, unless their Thomas Downloads were removed.
Because of that all Thomas models were removed from this site.

Re: [MSTS] Skarloey(Talyllyn) Railway Stock
Or does it...
The Skarloey Railway stock would probably be fairly easy reskins to do from the TR stock, which AFAIK is still availible. You can perfectly legally reskin any model, as long as it is only for your use on your own computer - it is only once you start distributing it (or screenshots of it) to other people that copyright rears its ugly head.
There's a good tutorial on reskinning on the UKTS homepage. It could be a good place to start
