is there a way to change the position of headlights and taillights on default stock, i want to make the correct headlights of a class 57 abd place it on the default class 47. can anyone help?

It depends upon whether the lights have been modelled as part of the original model or if they have been modelled as 'child' entries for that model.

If you have RW_Tools, select your model under Edit Assets and click the button 'Display child entries' and you will get a list of things like Driver, Exhaust, Horn etc these items are separate models to the main engine and can be moved around.

Most of the Steam locos have lights which can be adjusted and RW_Tools enables you to set up the correct headlight codes for steam era locos.

Unfortunately for you, the lights on the 47 class are built in to the model, so there is nothing you can do about them.
