New AP scenario packs

Post by TractorBasher »

Just receivced an email from The Armstrong Powerhouse advising of the release of two new scenario packs for the Just Trains Newcastle to York Modern route. One focuses on passenger operations, the other freight. A combination pack is also available with all the scenarios bundled together, plus a bonus scenario. The read me also mentions that some signalling fixes are made to the route.

Just downloaded everything I need and about to go for a spin. :D

The signalling fixes have amended some signals which had their links misplaced resulting in false red lights. These amendments should not affect other scenarios.

The fixes are applied to the route itself so they'll apply for any scenarios on the Newcastle to York (Modern) route.

Didn't Armstrong create the original activities supplied with Newcastle-York Modern as well?

Thanks for the positive comments all!

In reply to 'USRailFan', I did indeed create the default scenarios for the route. It was after creating within the confines of default stock that I realised the route would greatly benefit from some scenarios which utilise all the great payware packs and freeware reskins we have.

Hi Richard would it be possible for us to know what the extra stock is so we could download the stock we actually need? 124mb is alot to download. Could I install the extra stock then delete the file?

As far as I am aware it only installs the stock you actually need. Railworks recognises the items you already have installed.

Once you have extracted the stock to RW you dont need to keep the original download if you dont want to.

Point of order please Mr. Chairman.......

In the additional stock packs for these scenarios, none of the Class 37's, 60's or 66's have a GeoPcDx in their respective engine folders, any clues as to which ones we have to copy and paste please from other locos we have downloaded. I assume the GBRf 66's have a blue one and the EWS have a red one, but, I don't want to second guess......

I thank you......

Cheerz. Transport Steve.
