Mid East - Marvellous

Post by kjude »

Just taken the coil train from Clipstone Colliery to West Burton Power Station and back.

Fantastic, although I was held so long on a red signal in the Warsop Yards area that I confess to nodding off and not being entirely sure when it went green again. No chance of me driving a train for real then :-).

Just great.
Ran the Rail Tour from Lincoln to Nene Valley really shows
the route well. The semaphores and detail around Lincoln including
the Cathedral perfect

Well done to the design team

The Mid East route can be ordered on CD for £4 (Well worth it - There's no profit made on it) from the UKTrainsim CD ordering section.

The route isn't available as a download which is probably why you didn't see it (Patches and updates can be downloaded though).

The CD contain's extra feature's, Like stock and Activities.

The main reason why it is not downloadable, I think, I that it would take several hour's to upload and download each file, It would also probably span about 10 + File's at 10Mb a piece. That's over a week of downloading for 4 Hour's on a 56Kb modem. :o .

So it's on CD for £4 about £30 saving. :)
