RailSimulator content seems to work OK on RailWorks and to get any of it installed, simply load RailWorks, click on the Package Manager, click Install Package and search for your content.

I don't think that matters. If I remember rightly, any RS content works in RW, even user-created routes, provided a package is made.

And another quick question. Why cant I create a scenario? The button is greyed out for all the routes. and how do I put down locomotives onto the route.

Not sure on scenarios but to get locos on a route, open the Scenario Editor by clicking Edit on the selected route, you'll then find stock in the left flyout in the Scenario Editor. Placing stock gives you a free roam scenario when you click Play.

Hmmm. Maybe try Free Play, then World Editor (the globe icon at the bottom), then the Scenario Editor (train icon, top left).

You need to unlock the "Padlock" to gain entry to the Route.

Have a read of this thread, if still stuck come back.

I'll help again.

You need to use the "Object Set Filter" to 'tick' the Asset Providers for the Route you want to use the downloaded items on.

Have a read of this Thread:

Also, ensure you click on the "Clear Cache" button (under the "Tools & Docs" tab) on the RW Start up screen after 'installing' any downloaded items.

Ahh cheers mate. I knew i must be missing somthing. Is there a button to select all the assets at once, or do I need to do them one by one?

Cheers

As far as I can see you have to tick each provider individually.
But this has the advantage that RW doesn't have to try and load anything that is unnecessary for the particular route you are using
