Pressing t causes a crash

Post by Trainguy76 »

Hi,

When I press 't' at one specific tile/area, RailWorks crashes. Anyone have a solution?

Use 90m DEM for that section, otherwise, and if building a US route, use ReDem and seamless data from USGS.
Cheers!

Would it be possible to temporarily switch the DEM in that area?

Meaning, use a low res DEM for that tile and high res for everything else near it?

This is a dear, old bug since the first release of RS.
I've dealt with it but the use of 3deg DEMS in critical areas is a poor workaround.
For a while this bug was mentioned in the section 0 of wiki but some months ago it disappeared from this list.
Too hard to fix ?

Hi, It has been awhile since the last update but there is a fair amount on the near horizon.
There are a number of reasons for this, biggest one being work being done for the German release.

Something is missing in the R0 list.... where is gone the error done by SRTM1 dem when 2 tiles share 2 different LONG?
Fixed? Solved? Impossible to be solved so removed from the list?

Hi,
Nothing gets ignored.

RS.com creed: nothing gets ignored... everything is ignored. (assasin creed= nothing is true, everything is permitted )

The actual situation - 16 april 2010 (earth time).

Where can i send this new EPIC FAIL my ex "dear" RS.com? (i can't post another postcard or the mod will send me another ammonition) 8)

Ex in the sense that i'll go on using RW because i have no intention to withdraw from something i love doing (3D and my route) but i have spent the last bit of faith in the team with the last EpicFail track's bug patch's patch.
Im only a grain of sand but at least you(RS.com) now know that there is a user on this world that can't be fooled by you anymore. :D

Regards :D
