Everything seems to have gone quiet regarding the new steam add on packs, IE 9F, light pacific etc, anybody know whats going on with them? any news?
My Mind is like a Welsh Railway, One tracked and Dirty....
Re: new add on packs?
I think the ones closest to release are the ATSF and BN SD40-2s, and Digital Traction's Wagon Pack.

Hiya
Just to let you know that the 9F is very close ..
The model is all finished, however after a bit of experimentation I have found a way to add some exiting new functionality .
More details soon

Re: new add on packs?
The light pacifics from Digital traction seem to be going into there final stages according to there blog, they are apparently at the texturing and tweaking stage on the steam locos, I'm not sure if this also refers to the smaller steam loco there working on aswell tho.
Its nice to hear 9F is nearly ready, its somewhat of a iconic british steam loco compared to alot of other loco, alot were built for freight services and back in the steam days it was a common occurance to pass them on a high speed express as they trundled along with a freight consist for the day. It also was a somewhat successful design and most of the time they got rolled out of manufacturing and put straight onto the line with little testing done on them.
On that note, I know the Morning Star has been mentioned as one of the 9Fs, but can we potentially have a sneak peak at what others of the 9Fs will be included?

I am guessing that the new German version of RailWorks is keeping everyone busy at RS.com Towers.

They are testing add-ons as well, there have been mentions of testing of ATSF and BN SD40-2 add-ons on Twitter, plus DT's Wagon Pack being beta tested. And then there's the 9F of course, plus the new interface, and the Project Platform update. Looks like the guys are busy indeed.
