Re: 60163 Tornado v2
How do I install it. Do I have to go to Editors and Tools. I never did finish installing the original one but have a different laptop now and can find Editors and Tools.

Hi Dan,
Before the loco will appear in the sim, you have to create a consist - you can use the Activity Editor (in Editors & Tools) or Route Riter or Consist Builder.
Please come back if you need more guidance
Cheers,
Ged
As downloaded, it is a zip file. Unpack the zip file into a temporary folder. In this temporary folder will be 3 new folders - Common.cabs, common.sound and DR_BR_AG_A1_60163 (note Common.cabs and NOT common.cab!). Copy these three new folders into your TRAINSET folder - allow to over-write if you get the message.DanHill wrote:How do I install it

Thanks but how does Activity Editor work it looks to complicated. Where might I find consist builder as that might be easier.slipperman12 wrote:Hi Dan,As downloaded, it is a zip file. Re: 60163 Tornado v2
Got it working was quite simple really using Activity Editor but I have problems with the BR Blue Canadian Pacific. Keeps saying bits are missing but everything has been copied over.
Actually there is 1 more little problem. How do I change the headboard I see there is a Cathedrals Express one but I moved the headboard and wreath supplied to dead but it still comes up.
I also have a cool consist with 2001 . O' The North and Tornado double heading. Might be a sight in the future if the A1 Trust feasiablity study for a P2 is successful (though with their suggested 2007 rather than 2001)

Re: 60163 Tornado v2
HI,
Thanks, Chris for that link. I find that the Activity Editor Consist Builder not the easiest to use
Dan, It should be noted that the apple green BR Tornado is shown as DR_BR_A1_60163 in the loco list (ie the AG is missing!). Conbuilder is, in my opinion, the best consist builder, but is no longer freeware. There is a French version called Convoi, obtainable here : /www.activitysimulatorworld.net/Convoi.htm ; this seems to work OK, if you're all right with the language, although a manual in English has been prepared by Mike Simpson, available at the same site.
Cheers,
Ged

Re: 60163 Tornado v2
How do I remove the wreath and London And Dorset Wanderer headboard. I moved them to dead links and it still shows up then deleted the headboards in the dead and it still shows up. I still have the C Ex file (not sure if it is meant to be the Cathedrals Express headboard)
