AE Not working grr

Ok iv got vista on my computer and iv tried changing the screen resolution to the requires on the control panel and nvidea but ae still says will only work with res of at least 1024x768. Iv tried changing all the resolutions but nothing is working.

Nothing on there that helps but thanks anyway. Iv had this before but for the life of me cant remember how to sort it.

Hi Mike,

Run as Administrator and ensure you re-set your Graphics card to 1024x768 and 16bit before running AE or it will crash.

Yep tried all that, still comes up saying needs to be 1024x768 even though iv done it.

ok sorted, clicked on the ae and went into compatibility and unchecked the run in 640x480 screen resolution.

You are setting the 1024x768 and 16bit on your Graphics Card Control Centre when going into AE and not in MSTS aren't you?

is your pc set to 16 bit and not 32bit colour as i have vista and my AE wouldn't work til i set it to 16 bit colour on my pc settings.
