Re: CN Wide nose SD40-2
Thanks a lot Derek,
That means I've got to re-install ALL my Armstrong soundpacks yet again after upgrading, I hope nobody has anything else to sell today.......

Re: CN Wide nose SD40-2
Just for the record, the steam page says '4 scenarios and 1 free roam' and then lists 5 scenarios and 1 free roam. Not a biggie, but still...

Re: CN Wide nose SD40-2
It isn't a core update so shouldn't affect them.TransportSteve wrote:Thanks a lot Derek,

Re: CN Wide nose SD40-2
Thanks for that Darren,
I was under the impression that any upgrade from Steam ( new locomotive purchases, upgrades, etc ) affected all the soundfile packages, and had to be re-installed every time that happened. No probs then, thanks for the information, I learn something new on here every day, it's just like being at school......

Content overload the past two weeks! Thanks for the USWagonPack in this too!
Re: CN Wide nose SD40-2
I might be wrong Steve! But I was certain it was the case. If not, I have learned something new today!TransportSteve wrote:Thanks for that Darren,

Re: CN Wide nose SD40-2
Thanks for a great model! I liked the cabview very well.
But I miss enhanced sounds for the SD40-2 engines, and diesel locomotives generally.

Re: CN Wide nose SD40-2
What a fantastically-priced add-on! I already had the US Wagon set, but that's a small thing. Love the cab, the lighting effect AND the see-through wind deflectors!
Noticed there's no exhaust coming from the extra locos in multiple units, but the Hi-Noses do when coupled together - or is it me?
Did notice (hurriedly hiding magnifying glass and anorak
) there is a spelling mistake on the I-beam car: it says NATIONAL STREEL COMPANY.
Great add-on at a great price. Total bargain!
Cheers
Ken

Did it overwrite the freightcars and scenarios you already had, or do you have multiple instances of the freightcars and scenarios?sundog wrote:What a fantastically-priced add-on! Re: CN Wide nose SD40-2
As far as I can see it just overwrites the US wagon pack, but I couldn't tell you about activities. I should imagine if it's a plain overwrite of what you already have then it wouldn't affect anything.USRailFan wrote:Did it overwrite the freightcars and activities you already had, or do you have multiple instances of the freightcars and activities?
