Shower and Shave

Not a problem; I haven't shaved in nearly thirty years...

I think the standard saying is the "Three Esses" - s***, shower and shave - and that describes the proper sequence too.

That's the order I used to adopt before going out in the early 60s except the second one was shave and the third shampoo !

How times change !

I've just done the three S's . . .

Shave, shampoo and . . . . wait for it . . . . spa (foot that is!)

For me it's either way. I don't get too much in the way of facial hair, like ever. One little bit of 'bum fluff' under my chin, and this stupid looking bit on my top lip, that's it!

I shave maybe once a fortnight - i swear i was supposed to be born a woman! But generally before i shower, for the same reason as James above.

Reading from Phillips recommendations, you get a better shave before you shower as the bristles all stick out hard whereas if you shower first the bristles are softend and are more likely to bend over and not get cut.

I am a dedicated wet shaver myself and shave in the shower after first washing my face. So my order is: wash hair, face, shave, wash body. Also when I shave I feel first to find which direction feels more prickly then shave in that direction. I can then shave every other day instead of every day. It seems to pull the whiskers further out before cutting them whereas, as with electric, they tend to get bent/laid down and not cut as short.
