Have to agree, very nice. You'll have to let us into the secret of your texturing!markjudith wrote:Fantastic stuff, love those grubby old buildings, tons of atmosphere![]()

Used to go to Stockton for market day, when I was a lad, and mam would buy pikelets for tea as a special treat.
See you've got the disappearing numbers problem with the rolling stock. I think RSDerek was asking for examples of that, or am I behind the times as usual?

Re: Nearly Opening Time!
Theres no secret, I just use the grubbiest textures I can find on cgtextures.com!
I notice that the numbers disappear at exactly the moment the center point of the vehicles exits frame.
Theres another video coming up showing the area nearer the high St which you might recognise Eyore.
I also took the liberty of slightly modifying the skins of you dockside crane, to make it look more like ones at Stockton.
It's an excellent model and saved me a ton of work.

Re: Nearly Opening Time!
This one shows the latest progress on the foundry end of the route. A lot of extra detail added since I last put up a video, otherwise the general layout is the same.
