Another problem regarding the LU stocks, the C69 stock, when I try and use that, the sounds work, but when I try and move forward or backwards, it barley moves, as if the breaks are stuck on, can anyone help me with this too?

Problem with LU sounds.
I'm currently creating an activity using the D78 stock on the WCML, however, no sounds at all will work, the train is completely silent, although when I use the D78R stock, the sounds do work, it's really confusing me, and as I'm not really the cleverest person in the world, can anyone help me?

Do you have any idea why the C69 stock is barley moving? It takes me twenty seconds just to get up to 10mph

Re: Problem with LU sounds.
Might be bin patch related.... as they are seperate engines.... some patches don't allow the adding of power from other than the lead car.Bulman91 wrote:Do you have any idea why the C69 stock is barley moving? It takes me twenty seconds just to get up to 10mph
I've just checked the 73 stock .... and I have the sounds in the folder "1973_TUBE_STOCK" .... the 73 refurb stock is aliased to those sounds.
However a while back I change the sounds to scalability level 0 , so the excellent sounds were used by AI trains.
(So I can't be sure what level they were set at to start with)

Re: Problem with LU sounds.
With regards to the C69 stock, it is .bin related. And I'm still unsure on how to fix this. Grrrr
And so what should I do for the D78 stock? I only recently downloaded the 73 stock too.

To me it sounds like you need to go to the rear cab put once in there put the reverser to reverse then put train brakes to neutral.Once you have done that go back to the leading cab and try moving as i got this problem often. after cab swapping to go in the other direction
EDIT sorry i mean try the above for the C69 stock to try get it moving.

Re: Problem with LU sounds.
I have tried what you said and it has made no difference.
I went to the rear cab, put the reverser in reverse, and then the train breaks to neutral, then went back to the leading cab and still the same problem occures.

I have tried a consist I have made myself and the consists which come with the download its self, both of which have the same problem.
I tell you something, I'd love to see an A stock on here!

Hello.
OK i have just been messing around with the eng file "LUC69RDMcircle.eng" and have changed a few things and now it speeds up faster. for me
open up the eng and locate the following:
Engine ( LUC69RDMcircle
Wagon ( LUC69RDMcircle )
Type ( Electric )
MaxPower ( 250kW#est )
MaxForce ( 200kN#est )
MaxContinuousForce (30kN#est )
DieselEngineSpeedOfMaxTractiveEffort( 7.50 )
MaxVelocity ( 40mph )
MaxCurrent ( 1000A )
WheelRadius ( 0.915m )
Sanding ( 1e9mph )
NumWheels ( 1 )
you need to change your original "max force numbers in the brakets" to what the red font says to the ones in the red font then it should then speed faster. but i edit other things aswell but im sure this is what needs to change.

Re: Problem with LU sounds.
I have done exactly what you said, and it speeds up a tiny bit faster, but nothing in comparison to the D78 stock, and it's still taking ages to get up to 10mph, and it struggles to get above 25mph.
Re: Problem with LU sounds.
OK ill have another go a bit later or likely tomorrow
