all "0" bytes folder name in Routes folder

Post by dipper6 »

Hi,
I'd like to ask that in = railworks \ Contents \ Routes = folder if one or more folders are all "0" bytes is it
OK or will there be problems with them,

that is, folders like this = 0000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000

I have been talking to a programmer and he says they are OK but if my memory serves me right I think
that I read that they should not be like that, that they should \ must be numbered.
He has 2 folders named that way in the Routes Folder, in my view there is the potential for problems because when a route or whatever looks for a folder which is all "0"s it could go into the wrong folder and then it finds the wrong files in that folder.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hi. If there is a route folder name consisting only of 0s - then it will crash. These are sometimes installed by scenery items - don't know why but they are not good - as to how your mate managed to get 2 folders with exactly the same name - that is another problem entirely!
