Hi Bob

I would have loved to have shown the route this weekend at the show but when it was loaded there was a lot of missing assets from what was posted in your read me file said there was a few assets required which I had.

From the screen shots the route look very good and some of the vintage London Underground Ground stock would look very nice on it.

Hi

John - that's a real downer. To the very best of my knowledge I posted up all 3rd Party assets here: http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 0#p1261722 I'm really sorry it didn't work on the day, and hope it wasn't the decals causing the problems...

The kind words are again much appreciated. As it happens, the next instalment is actually a continuation of last night, as I had problems uploading these last two shots. (What a relief, I hear you cry! 8) )

The intermediate stop on the way to Croxley Green is Watford West (actually Watford Stadium station could be next, but it didn't exist at the time):

Tickets could be purchased for travel to Watford West for some years after its "temporary" closure. In 2004-05, ten passengers purchased tickets for travel to the station, placing it higher than Gainsborough Central, a station currently open and in use.

Here's my interpretation of part of the Scammell factory, which used to sit next to Watford West station. http://www.scammellregister.co.uk/gallery.htm. (I haven't missed a Scarab for RW have I? :D )

Thanks! I went to school with a lad whose father/grandfather worked at Scammells, so I suppose I've got a bit of a soft spot for them, although looking at it now I think I may have overdone the factory chimneys!

I've also included a scene in the factory grounds vaguely similar to this:
http://media.photobucket.com/image/scam ... img438.jpg

This is the current state of play with the trackwork:

Service 9 is sitting at Rickmansworth (Church Street) and Rickmansworth Metropolitan station will be directly north of it.

Service 6 is in the sidings leading to the Croxley Mills factory complex - there was an amazing amount of trackwork associated with this factory and I've only been able to fit about 2/3rds of it into the route. I'm quite looking forward to putting together a shunting scenario here using Invincible.

Watford Met is at the top of the track plan, and I'm presently putting the scenery together around this area. The other line is the Croxley Green branch.

I think I shall be releasing version 2 once all this lot is done, and then I'll tackle the line to St Albans Abbey. Should keep me off the streets for a while!

Cheers

Hi John

Just had the most horrendous weekend from a work point of view and didn't manage to get anything done.

However, I'm determined to spend some time on it tonight so there should be something more to show soon.

Cheers

What do you find the hardest route building. For me its foliage and I have lots of it in the bacup branch.
