Hi Mark

Thank you for the nice shots! Like to see more..
For me it is fun now to see how other people drive their trains and take their own screenshots. It suprises me..and when i don't see milepost, i can plat the game: where is his camera? Thanks!

Question:

I see some assets has disapear from your pictures. Some catenary poles and wires. Are your graphic settings in game not optimal? Is it the cameraview(zoomed in head out camera, so lod settings make asset fade out)?
For the wires I used single assets, but for the parts with difficult gradient a made some lofts with MiddleBPD.
Does anyone has this like the above screenshots?

Never seen that before SAD its fine in all my shots.. I wonder if mark tabbed out before taking the screenshots, this can cause odd parts off assets to dissapear until the next tile loads..

Nice shot!
For period accuracy in your scenario, don't forget the practice of displaying train reporting numbers (headcodes) on locos had long gone by the time 158s appeared. :)

Thanks Sad,i will definetly post more mate, you deserve to see your hard work!

I have display driver errors some of the time,so that may cause it,although for some reason i found a factory with Missing texture on it? I dunno what i have done wrong, but its not detracting from the experience for me,personally :D

I can't remember if i put the graphics setting down to 7 or not :S

Loving it,just freeroaming, first route i have ever just driven for true enjoyment :D
(As in just free roamed)
Cheers,
Mark

Hello Mark,

That missing texture has also been noted on the other thread for SAD's layout, it's a quirk in his system, not your fault....

From one great route in my last set of screens to another:

First views of one of the scenarios in a W&B scenario pack i am making, hoping to do 5 from different eras (a few packs) with a semi fictional feel,to go with the route.

Scenarios 1:

1A92 19:35 Aber Y Strad-London Euston

Drive 47150 on an evening express from Aber Y Strad to New Street, where an 86 will take over. Set in 1992 the last summer (Summer SO working) of its operation, the next year,it no longer existed, and the town had just 5 IC expresses to the capital a day.

At Little Hope we wait for 1E30 to Edinburgh

Image
We pass 6B85 Lackenby-Llanwern steel train as we are checked by the HST ahead.

Image
Close behind us is 47630,there are 3 trains in 15 mins,if you drive too slow you may well end up behind the 158 stopper as far as Rednall.

Cheers,
Mark

HST would look so much better if some one had not stolen the headlight covers. :(
